The company has conducted various research studies on Hamcho for the past 10 years and developed and industrialized healthy foods such as Hamcho power, pills and liquid in addition to Hamcho soy sauce, Hamcho soybean paste, Hamcho salt and Hamcho seaweed based on the company’s accumulated experience and know-how.

The company established the Hamcho Research Institute. Dasarang has made ceaseless efforts to develop well-being products by using Hamcho in cooperation with renowned scholars (plant & food engineering). The company has made the most of the versatile usefulness of Hamcho by developing Hamcho pickles, Hamcho beef boiled in soy and Hamcho Gimcho and supply them at reasonable prices, while continuing research and development

Since Dasarang decided to promote Hamcho to the general public, it has been operating a Hamcho cultivation farm on the clean coast in Jeollanam-do to better market the product. The company has taught local residents how to acquire quality raw materials while training them in Hamcho cultivation methods and implementing contracted cultivation for mass production.

It contributed to increasing the incomes of farmers in Hamcho cultivation areas and facilitating the regional economy while enabling consumers to enjoy Hamcho at reasonable prices.
